  1. Clearly, long-term issues (food allergies) beat out temporary issues (sleep regression).Plus, anything that you have to educate anyone who comes in contact with your child (food allergies) definitely sucks the most!!

  2. I feel so blessed to have escaped both of these issues. Our troubles were entirely sleep related, which of course are terrible and challenging in their own right. But I am thankful that I escaped food issues.

  3. @Jenna made a great point over at the poll comment area, that food allergies combine two of the worst (the third being sleep regressions) – potentially-life threatening problem with the child that requires permanent vigilance with a problem that inspires other people to CONSTANT commentary/judgment on your parenting, as though you are exaggerating the allergy or as though you caused it. FTW.(Though for my money 3.5 still would have won, since statistically speaking a minority of kids have allergies whereas they all have to go through 3.5)

  4. I think we’ve managed to back into the area that is more than inconvenient suckage.Because I would take all the sleep regressions there are rather than 3.5.
But I’ll take whatever suckage you’ve got if it means my kid isn’t going to eat something that kills him. (Our only food allergies weren’t life-threatening, and he grew out of them. So in our case, not as bad as GERD.)

  5. I’m not sure why I feel so vindicated that food allergies is pulling ahead, but I do. Maybe because it is the worst possible thing I could wish on my kid and I feel like acknowledging it as the worst sort of proves just how awful it is. Or something.

  6. Like @Erin said regarding allergies: “potentially-life threatening problem with the child that requires permanent vigilance with a problem that inspires other people to CONSTANT commentary/judgment on your parenting, as though you are exaggerating the allergy or as though you caused it. FTW.”I’ve seen my DH go into anaphylactic shock. So not fun. Downright scary. I can’t imagine witnessing my child do the same. Though clearly it happens.
But, beyond life-threatening things, sleep issues still win hands down for me.

  7. The apostrophe after the word white is unrecessany. I wish people would perform a grammar and spelling check before vandalizing our buildings. signed, whitey

  8. Have each participant fill out a bracket, marking which team he thinks will win each round. To give each person ample time to think about their selections, provide the brackets at least a week before the beginning of the tournament, then do not collect the brackets until the day before the tournament begins. Thanks for sharing information.Regards,
